Rev. Alexandra "Alex" Robinson has been in ministry in the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church since 1997.  Alex is married to David and they have 13-year-old twin boys, Brooks and Elliot, and 10-year-oldViolet. Alex most enjoys spending time playing board games with her children and attending their various activities, but also has hobbies of running, cooking, watching British TV shows and attending live theater. Rev. Robinson’s biggest passion in ministry is to be a witness for God’s grace in a hurting world. She desires for the church to reach those who have felt ostracized or not included whether due to inaccessibility or disillusionment. Her hope is to provide an experience of church where all feel welcomed, included and valued because they are children of God.

Taylor Smith was raised in the United Methodist Church. He received his Masters of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC in 2017. Prior to joining the FMUMC team, he served as the Church Planting Fellow and Associate Pastor at Urban Village Church, South Loop in Chicago, IL. In his spare time, Taylor can be found in a Crossfit gym, reading a book, or cooking a gourmet meal. He and his wife, Katie May, enjoy food, the outdoors, and Netflix. They have a dog named Luna who loves baby
carrots.

Jan is a lifelong United Methodist and has been active making music for worship and fellowship since her youth. She feels that God has given her a love for sacred music, worship and God’s people, and called her into a life of music ministry. Jan comes to Flower Mound UMC after serving Sierra Vista UMC in San Angelo, Texas for nine years. She has also led the music departments at First UMC, Rockwall and First UMC, DeSoto. Jan holds the Master of Sacred Music degree from Perkins School of Theology, SMU, where she received the Sacred Music Award for scholarship and service. She also has BMEd and MMEd degrees from ASU.  Jan is currently Dean of the Texas Conference Choir Clinic, a Methodist intergenerational camp for music and worship arts, which takes place in June each year at Lakeview Methodist Assembly near Palestine, Texas.  She has also served on the Chorister's Guild Board of Directors, and has sung with the Dallas Symphony Chorus for nine years.  Jan is married to Keith, a retired Band Director.  They have 2 grown children, Chelsea and Brad, and 2 young grandchildren, Sera and Seth.

Brittany grew up in Keller, Texas where she attended First United Methodist Church and Trinity Presbyterian Church.  In 2007, she received her undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from Austin College, and completed her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014.  While attending Austin College, Brittany was involved in the Religious Life programs within the College.  After graduating from Austin College, she received her Montessori Certification for students ranging in ages from infants through Third Grade.  Brittany has been a Montessori teacher for over ten years.  She is excited to combine her love of teaching with her love of Children’s Ministry and Youth Ministry.  Brittany is an educational ambassador for NASA’s Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her nephews Caden and Carter.

Chris Czechowski grew up in Plano in a very musical household, surrounded by his mother’s love of folk music and choral singing on one side and his father’s love of blues on the other. After being very involved in school choir and orchestra through high school, Chris went to the University of North Texas majoring in Music Education with a choral concentration which was completed in 2006.  In addition to being a part of the UNT A cappella choir and UNT jazz singers, he became very active in the Denton Wesley Foundation and quickly became a leader in both the choir and praise team there.  Since then, Chris has been a part of several successful UMC new church starts in the area including Cross Way UMC and Christ UMC – Princeton serving as their worship leader.  While he currently has a day job working as a closing coordinator, Chris also maintains a small vocal studio for a few select students.  When he’s not spending his time working or engrossed in music and worship, Chris can be found playing soccer with friends, relaxing with a video game, or spending quality time with his wife, Cortni.

Brian is the Building Manager at FMUMC. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in management from Texas A&M University in 2003, he worked as an accountant for a local firm and then as a helicopter parts sales representative. He is also an Eagle Scout and was the first senior patrol leader for Troop 256 when it was started at the church. He has always had a passion for woodworking and worked at a 18th century museum in the wagon shop. Brian has been a member of FMUMC since moving to Flower Mound in 1997. He and wife Erin have a daughter Meghan, and two sons, Kyle and Tyler.

Samantha works with the Office Ministry Team and handles the administrative duties of the church. She has been a member of Flower Mound United Methodist Church since 2003 and is active in United Methodist Women, WWF, Sunday School, and her favorite activity - the church's softball team. Samantha is married to Gary and has two children, Connor and Madeline.

Janet became the Director of the Sonshine Kids Child Development Center after experiencing a calling to be more involved in the various ministries offered at FMUMC. Janet graduated from The University of North Texas in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her route to the Sonshine Kids was circuitous, to say the least, leading her through a career in business that culminated as the Chief Operations Officer of an industry-leading furniture manufacturing company. Janet and her husband, Mark, have been members of FMUMC since 2000 and have two children, Kayla and Ethan.

Jenny was born and raised in Texas.  She graduated from Texas Women's University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  She previously worked at Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church as the Childcare Coordinator for six years.  She and her husband, Nathaniel, have been blessed with two boys, Donovan and Finn.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Lisa DeBellevue has been playing for churches and choirs since she was in junior high school in Dallas. After receiving her Bachelors and Masters degrees in piano performance from the University of North Texas she settled in the Lewisville/Flower Mound area where she has taught piano lessons for over twenty-five years. She is an active accompanist, adjudicator, and private teacher and church musician. She and her husband, John, have four children.

Andrew was born and raised in Southeast Texas, just north of Houston. He began studying piano at the age of 12 and organ at 16. He found singing in the middle school choirs to be of great interest as he later enrolled in private voice lessons and continued to sing in the choir going into high school. Andrew now holds a bachelors in music education with vocal concentration from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX and studied voice under Angela Pickering. Currently, he is finishing his masters in organ performance at the University of North Texas in Denton and studies with Dr. Jesse Eschbach. After his completion of the masters, Andrew plans to continue a career in music as an organist/pianist, collaborator, and music mentor.
