Music - Adult
Adult Vocal Ensembles
Singing in the the Sanctuary Choir is a meaningful way to worship God and lead worship at Flower Mound United Methodist Church. This diverse group leads worship at the 11:00 worship service through songs in many styles, such as classical music accompanied by an orchestra or piano, contemporary anthems, Taize music, music from the Iona community, and other global music. We believe that through singing we can express our inner feelings and desires to our God. Although we strive for musical excellence, our purpose is to nurture you as a Christian through personal and group experiences.
Men's choir comes together to practice after Sanctuary Choir each Wednesday evening at 8:30 in the Choir Room. This group sings regularly in both our 8:15 and 11:00 worship services. You do not have to be a member of the Sanctuary choir to join Men's Choir - all are welcome!
The Handbell Choir at Flower Mound UMC, the FMUMC Ringers, is open to all adult and youth handbell ringers from intermediate to advanced levels (Levels 2 and 3). We strive to provide music that leads and blesses the congregation during worship. The Handbell Choir performs several times during the year, including Easter and Christmas. Come join us and learn to worship God in a new and different way!
The FMUMC Ringers practice on Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm in Room C10/12.
