We have been blessed with an opportunity to save lives!

Did you know that malaria kills a child every 30 seconds? Eleven million people die of malaria every year, and 500 million people a year are diagnosed with this beatable, treatable, and preventable disease. IMAGINE...a world with NO MALARIA! The United Methodist Church, in partnership with The United Nations Foundation and others, is determined to eradicate this disease in the next 5 years. Flower Mound United Methodist Church is one of two pilot churches in the North Texas Conference to be a part of this mission which will save lives...and change lives. Ten dollars can save one life! Our kids are collecting coins in their “Skeeter Beater” coin jars, so save your change for that! If you would like to donate to this cause, please make your checks payable to FMUMC and note “No Malaria” in the memo section.
