Kairos Prison Ministry
Kairos is a Christian faith-based ministry which addresses the spiritual needs of incarcerated men, women, youth, and their families. By sharing the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ, Kairos hopes to change hearts, transform lives and impact the world.

Project Transformation (PT)
PT is a summer camp in Dallas (our site is located at Walnut Hill UMC) that serves students from low-income neighborhoods. Each day, children read one-on-one with volunteers and participate in daily enrichment activities including recreational play and exercise, creative arts, and interaction with PT interns and community volunteers, who inspire and encourage youth daily to make responsible, sound decisions.
Ages 13+, volunteers 18+ must have a background check and current Ministry Safe

Christian Community Action (CCA)
FMUMC supports CCA in its mission primarily through providing donated funds for the annual Back-to-School, Thanksgiving Meal, and Christmas Meal drives. Additionally, we support CCA with volunteers for its summer Kids Eat Free program, and other projects on an as-needed basis.

UMCOR
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) brings God’s hope, healing and renewal to people whose lives have been disrupted by war, conflict or natural disaster. UMCOR provides humanitarian relief and disaster response to people in more than 80 countries, including the United States. UMCOR is currently engaged in relief efforts in Texas (Hurricane Harvey), in Syria (civil war), Sierra Leone (mudslides), and many other places around the world.
